Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

books of older maya versions

Hi...

I found some PDF tutorials and books on older Maya versions. Can I use them with no problem in Maya 2011?

How old are those pdf's and books? i think it really depends on what your trying to achieve. Most things will still be there and if not, just changed locations.

But, i guess you'll have to find out user added image

Newton , you can use them but from Maya 2008 onward the menus changed and split the Modeling menu up into two separate menus of Polygons and Surfaces(for nurbs), also some other things have been moved like normals to their own menu so you might need to look some things up in the help docs if you are not familiar with the changes.
