Thanks guys ^^.

@ Jr.Who

The lighting is pretty simple, there are two large visible area lights, one warm and one cool, the shader is an off white mia mat with AO checked on. Of course these are tonemapped images.

Been up to some test renders, making sure everything is in order before I beef up the settings for a final.

I don't have the words to express how amazed I am at this.
but... I can't read your writing other than 'Approx'

that's a "Ch" pronounced as a "K"

Computer skills I should have:
Objective C, C#, Java, MEL. Python, C++, XML, JavaScript, XSLT, HTML, SQL, CSS, FXScript, Clips, SOAR, ActionScript, OpenGL, DirectX
Maya, XSI, Photoshop, AfterEffects, Motion, Illustrator, Flash, Swift3D

Yeah my handwriting with a tablet is just awful. In the first image, the glass panels for the window weren't built for smoothing so the approximation node was rounding them out and the vase bottoms weren't coming in contact with the coffee table as I'd like. The second image had a UV slip up that I hadn't caught.

Can I come study in your office? That looks sweet. The lighting looks kinda purpley, but that might be my monitor.

Yep! I ramped up the portal light intensity though.

hmm, now that you mention that, your writing suddenly became clearer user added image
