Vimeo applies its own compression upon uploading, so it won't always be the same.

@NextDesign I think if you upload your h264 with the exact specs they want it'll do a passthrough encode instead of recompressing, which gets the quality of your original... but maybe that's just YouTube?

I thought Youtube just compressed the crap out of everything? I've never personally had any luck with getting decent quality on there

@Acid44, na. You gotta pay close attn to the specs but I've gotten it so that it never recomps my 1080s... of course, those are usually already low bitrate, but they're MY choice (when I'm careful). Of course, they DO recomp them into smaller versions.
