Seeing Texturing in the Perspective View

I am totally spacing it on what setting I need to have on when I want to see my textures (procedural and/or file) in the perspective view. I am using Maya 2008. Please give this space-case a clue on this one!

No such thing... And if you think it is, well just do a search on here for soft select.
