Lag (Low FPS)

Hi there. I have a problem with Maya. When I move a polygon (which is driver) it moves laggy (low frames per second). Also when I play the animation to see how it is, the driven object moves laggy too (it skips frames). When I render it it's okay so I can live with it, but it is hard to animate like this. Is your geo smoothed? I animate unsmoothed then smooth for final renders

Try using layers so say your driven key animation is in 1 layer and other parts are in another that you can hide if you still have problems it could be your graphics card..............dave

I actually forgot about it. Now it's still laggy but not so hard.
