I'm working with a scanned model and i'd like to unwrapped it with it's texture.
I have 2 major issues that complicate the proccedure :
1. my scanned model topology are triangles (and lots of them)
2. it seems that i can not import my model into maya (2016)with it's texture?
am i missing anything? what would be the best way to do that?
any advice or recommended tutorials would be appreciated
this is my model- very messed up with lots of triangles. when i tried to unwrap it all kind of parts were stretched . all i need to do is unwrap it in one piece . how can i do it? is it possible to do this with the triangles? if not how can i convert it to quads? pls help.... thank you
