Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Very New to Maya

Hai all...


I am very new to Maya. i dont know anything about 3d things.
But i want to learn maya. Actually i am flash&photoshop guy.

I dont know how to start. i bought a book Inside maya 5.

Please give some sugg. and any good tutorials link...

Hello, i am pretty new to maya as well. Going through maya Fundamentals ATM. Its a very good book. From what i have seen all of the tutorials here are great. I especially like the hand tutorial. All of them are well presented though.

Thanks guys...

ya i am reading the book inside maya. But this book started directly doing the project. my difficult is i dont know which tool is using for what. But there is no tool diagram in the book.

and i dont have the maya help file. where i get these files...

can anybody give a small beginning work on maya which i can understand and doing my self...

and one more thing is i have a system p4 1.6ghz 128mb ram. if i open hypershade its get hang or the application is close.

i know that was the ram prob. i want to know the min requirement of Maya....

i think the minimum ram requirement for maya is something like 512mb
