Shader Glow ...

Probably another stupid question but:...

What is the ShaderGlow1 appearing in the Hypershade material window for?

How or where do I use it?

Thanks in advance.

Its just the default glow shader for the scene. You really shouldnt mess with it, just make a new one, same with the Lambert1 shader.

unlike the default Lambert1, you cannot make a new ShaderGlow node. The ShaderGlow1 node controls the attributes for all your post rendering glows - you can make adjustments to its attributes, but just to be aware that this will affect all the glows that your scene has.
