Default Assult Mech Question

Hello, I tried to convert the minigun on the assult mech from poly to sub d by selecting the minigun in object mode but after conversion, the whole minigun disappeared.

this is the error message :

// Warning: Nothing is selected. Select objects or components to delete. //
// Result: polyToSubdShape84 //
delete |polySurface9|polySurfaceShape31;
// Result: 0 //

Can anyone please assist ?

Thank you !
