Default Render Help

i wanna know if an operating system makes maya run better.. which OS.

Another issue. is will a OS ( server) make the batch render faster/..

I don't think there is a lot of difrance. Just a guess buy maybe 10 or 15 %. Not to much difrance bettwen win2000 or XP but I think a lot of big render farms use a unix, less over head with that one and prefured buy the TD's that run the farms.
