cigarette

hello,
i created a cigarette(one of my first scenes).the problem is i dont know how to make a good rendering.i made the lightning but i dont now how to make a "background" or something.pls help me. Pincher

ups forgett this pic.that is rendered with hardware render buffer but i see no smoke :angery:

Hi,
with the level your at with maya, i would recommend you visit the site
digital-tutors.com
They have a bunch of free tuts you can download, that cover all the stuff you need to know when starting with maya


There's nothing normal about normals. In FACT i think the are abnormal.
