This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

3d World

Hey Guys

The new 3d world mag is out here in the UK and has some good tutorials and free stuff on Rendering realistic images for those of you looking to do that sort of thing, also theres the free evaluation of Renderman for those who havent got it yet along with files for that as well, keep an eye out for it, its well worth it, hell even Im going to get stuck into this issue, its pretty damn good, this time round

hey jay what is the 3d mag ...I am wanting to get one with good tutorials and stuff but here in the states I cant seem to find any 3d mags

sometimes the mags tuts r a bit poor though good to see they have some good ones
will b pickin that up this week

there is another mag that you can download and they give you tuts like the joan of ark tut, they also cover a few 3d programs. i forgot the name of it its like 3d creative or something and it costs 4 us dollars. ill post the link later.

p.s. they have only been up since sept. and you can download back issues.

yeah 3d creative mag is very cool too, shame its not in paper form as printing those is and can be a pain to find a folder big enough.

I recommend that too though
