Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

ipod nano

i started this one yesterday and im pretty happy with the result.some things are wrong like the writting, and all the play button are done by hand.

very cool, i got a question for ya. how did you get that black to look reflective like that. ive been trying to figure it out for flooring and a computer monitor im doing. are you using the phong shader?

yhea im using a phong shader but you could use a blinn material or any other material that can reflect.

i have phong assigned ont he floor, and computer but this is what i get >.<.

are you sure you have assigned a phong material to these objects.other than tht, i dont know why, try moving the light.

could you remove that picture from my post please...user added image
if you need tips, you should post it on maya basics and newbie.

looks nice overall, only one crit but this might be the angle of the image or the fact that I don't have an ipod nano. It seems very long to me like it is stretched, but maybe i'm just seeing things, I should go to bed.

i dont know...maybe you are right, i used my ipod nano as my reference so maybe its the camera angle

Yea, it just doesn't appear to look like a nano. Maybe it's because it's a big closeup.
