need help asap scale tool

how the hell do i get it to scale propper like in the lil lines i did there
like select both faces and scale propper like dat ? please help
i need info asap
how do u do it so it does em both so they dont scale into each other they both juss scale down into the face at the same time ? please help i need help assap
