Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Ik FK Blend doesn't work

I really need fast help
I am building a skelett with the "Learning Maya 7 The Modelling&Animation Handbook" (offical alias Training guide)
I am now at page 398 and the arms should work (the ik-stuff does) but the clavicles which are fk don't, although I am pretty sure I did everything right.
Anyway I have my mb file zipped. For those that don#t have the book, when you click the arrow on the shoulder one should be able to rotate the shoulderbone - but I only rotate the arrow/handle. Please if you can fix it and explain to me what went wrong I would be eternally grateful - I should have finished it yester day :headbang:

pretty easy fix...select the arrow...then shift select the clavicle...then go to Constrain->Parent

now when u rotate the arrow, the joint rotates as well.

oh, btw...you can adjust the joint size to be more maneagable by going to Display->Joint Size

I normally use 25%
