Default creating a script

Hey guys, im trying to learn scripting and creating scripts.

My aim is to create a script, plugin or program that enables me to quickly create different shaped cartoony characters at the click of a button.

I know its a long long process and am willing to learn, but long term it will benefit me.

Any help or a point in the right direction will be much appreciated.

Thanx so much in advance
