My First Character

Ive just started working on my first attempt at a character ever. This is a very cartoony looking Superhero/ something I dont know. I just added on random things that made him look cool.

This should be interestiing. Sounds like you'll be using quite a bit of creativity on it. I like it so far.

I know what you mean about the hands. I've tried twice now and although my second attempt was tons better than my first, it's really really challenging. Nice work around

Thanks! It does look like a scuba diver, but ill be attempting to get more of a pyro/special forces look to him! Ive seen your robot in the challenge forum perfecto, that thing was neat! Thats what gave me the idea to... well do almost the same thing :/
Heres an update! Ive started to sculpt the legs, making them come directly out of the body was a pain, so I made seperate ones. There not yet done, some tweaking and aligning needs to be done, but you can get the basic feel! Also added a wire/tube going from the tank to the mask, that was annoying to do...

Began Rigging, will redo shoes soon. The ones on now look like futuristic 20cent retard shoes.

I think you're right about the shoes kinddoggofwar, though I don't think they look too bad. It's definitely a creative character. Because of the creativity I've gotta feeling that texturing is going to play a big role in the overal look of this character. Seems like it'll be tough to find just the right color scheme.

The two bars connecting the top half of the claw to the bottom half seem like they would prevent the claw from opening and closing, or am I just looking at it wrong?
