Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

dude,
looks good so far.

the reason its bad quality is because you saved it as a JPEG.
JPEG compression is horrible, and it inserts artifacts and noise and other stuff to decrease the file size...
i suggest you get used to it, lol,

or you save as a TGA and open it in photoshop and then save it as a JPEG

also,

what car is it supposed to be?

So far im making it after the 350z since it has such a basic shape, but to make it harder ill be adding small things from other cars as well. I want to give it an old/new age look. ill be adding detail last. Also the sidepanels i might redo since they are so annoying...
and thanks, that does give better image quality!
PS: black ring gaming seems really cool, i was looking over it b4.

coming along nicely, I need to get back to my dodge viper I did a while ago.

Can't wait to see the new old look that you said you were going for.

Thanks camel, im going to attempt to put in an old feel with the Top of the car (so far its a bit sporty). I tweaked alot of things and added a small... under the door thing. Too tired to do anything else right now, will post more updates tomorrow as i really want to get this done.user added image

I was wondering if I should be offended or assume it was gooduser added image Thanks acid44!
Heres the start of the top thingy, still needs tweaking. Also, it doesnt look like the back alines with the back sidepanels, but its just the lighting.
EDIT:: Ok, i think im pretty much finished with this part (ofcourse ill do a once over once im done to smooth and even things out) but ill proceed onto the top now!

Looking good man are you using the pdf tut as your going along with the flow in that?

Just that if your not it might be good to have a look at it as it shows wires for cars, pretty good, and how to go about it.
