World Local?

Object Orientation?

Sorry I'm not good with Maya terms.

take a cube and rotate it randomly.

when you select the move tool. the manip points still up cause it orients itself to the world/local set up. y-axis is up e.g.

if you chose object the manip would rotate itself with the object, like it happens with rotate manip for example.

just try it
