Default Bevels not looking quite smooth enough

Hi,

here is an image to show what I'm talking about.

I've tweaked the settings (offset, roundness, segments and all the test) but they never render totally smooth; what I'm working on with this is a beveled section of wood at the bottom of a wardrobe, and this doesn't look quite right.

Any suggestions?

thanks,

gubar

Looks fine to me. Just looks like your bevels are picking up some highlights.

When you get a texture on there, and some real lighting setup, you should fine.

Ok then, that's cool. The transition between flat and rounded just didn't look correct to me, but I guess when it's textured and lit it'll make a difference.

thanks,
