Smile Meline Shortfilm - Production Blog! :o)

Hey everyone,

For my first post ever here, yeeeh!, I wanted to tell you that Virginie GOYONS & Sebastien LABAN (me) are working a new CG Shortfilm pre-called "Meline" .
I just want to let you know, that there's a production blog opened here, that has been visited more that 100.000 times as from this week :

I'm hoping you'll find some interest in it. So I would looove to know what you guys think!

Best Regards,
Sebastien LABAN

Hi Sebastien and Virginie,

I was following your thread earlier last year and it was great to see how you've broken down all the elements of production and are letting people see how you tackled the development.
Admittedly I'd lost track of it later last year but thanks for bringing it to my attention again. You've got some nice semi clumsy childlike moves on meline. Maybe the facial expressions in the test movies could be slightly more exaggerated to give her a bit more life but no doubt you'll be improving things as you go along.
The visuals are fantastic all around and the hair demos are great to watch. Chaussette is a cool little mouselike character and goes really well with meline.

Looking forward to seeing it develop further
