Default Maya is freaking out on me now!

HELP!
This is only one object, not another poking through. Why is it doing this?

And one other question. I have made an object bigger, and rotated it. Is there any way I can make it think those are the default in the Channel Box. (IE: I have it rotated 45 degrees. Can I make it think 45 degree is the default, so it says 0 degrees?)

Not sure about what's going on in your scene, but as far as freezing your transformation....go to ...umm.....modify menu? Don't have Maya running right now, but under one of those menus you will find Freeze Transformations, that will put all values in the channelbox to 0 wherever your object currently lies
