Default maya visor

hey guys i was wondering, does anybody know any good places to read up on the maya visor, or tutorials on how/and in what situations to use it. for instance im trying to create a jungle themed space, and i noticed the visor has some nice trees and .mel scripts for water etc. but im not clear on how to use them.

cheers if ya can help

The visor is just a place that Maya uses to store presets of various mel scripts, pfx brushes, dynamic caches/setups etc.

If you right click on one of the images in the visor it will give you options along the lines of 'import whatever.mel/ma' or 'apply brush' (eg. import an example file/preset or use a paintFX brush)

cheers,
Chris
