Script for controlling Default Shader Transparency

hi all,

Don't know whether this is the right place to post it.

i've created a mel script for controlling the default shader (lambert1) transparency. I find it useful while modelling using image planes. u can see the image planes by adjusting the transparency.

i posted it here 'coz it's still in progress.

I need someone to help me in scripting as i'm new to MEL. How can i close the window when the user creates a new scene or opens another scene user added image

chk the file
