This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

Having some probs

user added image

Here's the story, the hat for my little robot was 2 seperate nurbs pieces, 1 for the brim and 1 for the top bit, so i converted to subd's then to poly's combined em then merged verts to make it one piece, converted back to subd's then back to nurbs and rebuilt the surface. The problem is there are many cv's in the circled area and not just 1. Which i believe is causing the dark grey dot.

Tips, pointers, suggestions, detailed explanations on how to fix, all welcome user added image
