Question Hot air?

Anyone know how to make a transparency heat wave arises from a desert ground? Or hot air from a airplane engine?

Or we can just move it.

I would think you'd have best results using a blur effect in a compositing program like Premier or After FX.

SURE!

Here is a thread from WAY back when this question was asked by our own (now a mod) Brian E.

http://forums.simplymaya.com/showthr...&threadid=4226

LOTS of ways are tackled in there!

Good luck!

PS: ALWAYS do a search first in the event that you know what you are looking for
