Default How do you people make sky?

Hello!
I know this is stupid question, but I will try to make a scene ina near future and I need to know how do people usualy make sky in the animations? Are you using a sky texture (if so, how), or do you make it with particles, or is there any other way? Sorry again if this sounds stupid, but I would like to know.

Cheers

Will your sky be a background or will you be flying through it?

Is there/or is there going to be a VIP tutorial on it?
