blowing paper/trash across the ground?

Not sure how to approach this one. Just for furthering
my understanding of dynamics, I would like to have
a piece of crumpled paper blow across a scene in
a natural fashion - stopping and starting ramdomly
with wind gusts.

Any takers/ideas?

maybe try instancing paper for particles and using a turbulence feild? I'm going after the same problem myself right now...

You could also use softbodies for the paper in combo with turbulence, gravity and air/wind fields.
