Random vertex jiggling

Does anyone know how to deform vertices randomly?

Basically I have a nice smooth object, and I want all of the verts to be moved randomly based on some sort of settings to be made bumpy. I don't want to do a displacement map. I'm sure there is a way to do this.

Thanks,
