This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

thnx a bunch. Im making differnt textures for him and will show the differnt versions of him soon as im done. they look a lot better than the main generic naga look hehe.

Great stuff... only thing I would try is add darker strips of color in his hair it would pop his face out more.....

yeah unfortunately my co-worker redid the uvs and made it practically IMPOSSIBLE for me to match up the widows peak with the rest of his hair >_< It a lesson learnt for the both of us.

And yes he is finished being bound by the animator on our team and he will be animted but not yet. Also there are some special glow effects that will be worked on for other versions of him and that needs to wait as well. He was modeled while we were waiting for one of our main characters to to be completed. So now that One of our main characters is complete minus the texures and animation that will be our task for the next week or so.

I really hope our game goes well. I know most CCG (Collectable Card game, i.e. Magic the gathering etc) people will get into it and i hope others will too. =P

if we have time to i'll request the hair and head uvs to be redone so i can actually give more detail to the hair =P
