Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 1
This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

Secrets of the Pros, 2nd Editition?

Alias/Sybex just release "Maya Secrets of the Pros, 2nd Edition." Has anyone looked at this yet. I have the first one but I find it a bit too technical (at least at this stage in my development). The second supposedly has more tutorial like chapters but I'm wondering if they're suitable for someone who has only been on the program for six months?
