I've made this scene and want to make an asteriod crash into the middle on the lake sending out a massive shockwave and sending water in all dirrections. Does anyone know any good tutorials on fluid dynamics and vfx or how i could do it?

This is what i've got for the meteor so far. It's all fluids and was made using a tutorial on fluids by 3d buzz for 3D world mag.

isn't that kinda like a ripple effect only much bigger and particles/fluids added to make it look sweeter?
