Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

but it doenst really look like I want
so I tought maybe this tutorial was perfect for me... Am I wrong...
Id like to know if you start with a sphere or any other primitive forms
and maybe a screenshot from a different angle than under the nose to know how she's looking I mean... her face

This tut is abit more advanced.. I dont show every little detail as far as pulling and pushing geometry around so you will have to do and think a bit on your own.. in the section you will see some changes in the look as i have spent time adjusting the shape inbetween recored sections.

I do start off with nurbs to get basic shapes and forms

I was wondering what part of this tutorial starts the beginning of laying out the UV's? I can't figure out how to texture the female model I have made and would like to use it as a guide.
