Converting

Have been doing the orc head tutorial, and it seems to go really well up untill i convert to polygons. Before converting I have a base which is looking for me is looking good. I then change to polygons and my results always seem very different to Kurts, then changing to Sub D where kurts is smooth mine is still very jaggedy further away from what i had at the nurbs stage.

I know I am a beginner, and Kurt is 3d god. But am i doing anything wrong?

When you go to a sub-D press 3 on the keyboard and that will give you a smoother result...

No Problem lol.

Tutorials cram a lot of information at you, very quickly, so you wont pick everything up. Especially since you are new to Maya and 3D.

Welcome Aboard
