Anything like a viewfinder in Maya?

Imagine I am rendering my image at 4000 X 4000pixels is there a way I can have like a square box around my model (like the box in the view finder of a the camera) to see actually which part of my model will fit inside the 4000x4000 window without actually rendering 1st?????

Sure... Set your resolution in the render globals and then in the viewport menu turn on View -> Camera Settings -> Resolution Gate.
