Weird problem.

Hi, i started to animate my character in maya. When i translate the foot i get a few spikes in the hand. It seems some vertexes are moving along with the foot. I tried the paint skin weights tool to solve it but it didn't help. Anyone have any idea?

Problem solved. I did use the 'reset weights to default' on the vertexes which had this problem. But i still am curious on how this could happen.

Hi Tuco, i selected the vertex that gave the problem. Then in the animation menu under 'skin' select 'edit smooth kin\reset weight to default'.
This worked for me, i think the vertex is bound to another joint than you want, giving this problem.
