This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

Terragen!

I downloaded the trial for the third time or so, but I still find it VERY annoying that I cannot seem to produce decent images, in regard to pixelation.

The test images are rendering as a really bad and blocky image. This has something to do with the maps i guess but what is the solution???

The rendering-settings are at full quality and of course below the pixel-size-restriction.

It... is... so frustrating to see great Terragen renderings around the web, and I'm still sitting here with really bad renderings.

Any terragen users out there?

What's the render quality at? That looks like the preview setting.

Oh, preview...

Yes, I see user added image!

Heh, didnt know it affected the main rendering. It "should" have only effect on the preview, since this setting is put right under preview. But I'm not complaining.

Isn't the trial version limited to only a certain amount of antialiasing?

Can't remember...
