A few weeks ago I was sent a photograph of a child crying next to Santa's Gravestone.

So I thought it might make a good starting point for my model.

Hahaha, ok ... so how about starting a scene now? perhaps Santa himself falling out of the sleigh at a great height? A police scene and everybody watching around the dead body? Anything? Come on guys! Get it on! user added image

The ground is a simple polygon plane with a few vertices pulled, then smoothed over.
I used the Grass Shader from the Maya Shader library.

The picture is going to be my backdrop, I hope to have a raindeer or two plus a santa Spirit if I get time. (Maybe a Rum & Coke is a better Spirit) user added image
