Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Seams

How do I get rid of the seam you get when you combine 2 halfs??

Your halves may be one complete object, but geometry-wise, they aren't connected at all if you didn't merge vertices. Select all vertices in the middle, then choose EditCpolygons>MergeVertices(options box) and set the value to a very low number so that the vertices overlapping each other near the seam will merge.
