Sept/Oct Normal - mayafreak3

I would like to do "Singe, the Dragon" from Dragons Lair. I haven't seen any 3d models of him yet. At least not in any of the artwork for the games. I remember playing the original Don Bluth coin op game (eek im old).

Also, excited to see Z Brush as an available tool. user added image

hmm

yep u are right.. hmm I was unaware of it, but I went and searched on it.. ya they made singe a 3d char. I'll see what else I can come up with.

Also known as Gargoyles Quest
You play Firebrand, a gargoyle who has powerful claws that allow him to cling to walls and other surfaces on a verticle plane. Firebrand can also hover and fly for awhile with his wings. Destroy the enemy characters with your firery breath. The game also contains an adventure type story that is unfolded by interacting with characters from an over-head perspective.

There was a Gargoyles Quest 2 on NES also here are some screenshots..

I plan to make Firebrand.

I never played this but it looks fun.

next step

I plan to make the gargoyle somewhat different from the original sprite/cover-art. I will be adding some different features to it in Z-Brush. Here is a "Test" the displacement map I will use will be different..
