Problem navigation in the side view
Hello,
I'm beginning with Maya and I've got a basic question... When I'm in the side vue (see image attached), I can't zoom on the head for example. I can't move as I would. I know how to navigate in the perspective view, but how can I navigate in this view ?

You can dolly in (zoom) and track using the middle and left mouse buttons while holding alt. If the zooming is weird, try selecting the head and then hit 'f' to frame the selection.
