Attaching Two Nurbs Surfaces? Need help ASAP for final project!

I'm building my first car, and I need to attach two NURBS surfaces for the hood and the trunk. The problem I am having is that these are trimmed panels, and when I go to attach > surfaces it gives me the error that they are trimmed panels. As of right now I have a visible seam going through the middle of the hood. Is there an alternative way?

you can't attached trimmed surfaces. They'll just have to "look" like they're attached.

How would you recommend fixing that seam through the middle of the hood? In the tutorial, the author talks about stitching, but doesn't really go into it at all....Would that be the solution?

you can try stitching. You can also try just lining up the CVs 2 rows on either side of the seam... should fix it.
