Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

A Question for those who have made humans

When you guys make a Human you start out with simple Circles squares exe but then what? how do you shap them into looking like humans?

In 3d? I use my image (or if I do a girl, a girl's image)... as odd as this sounds, as little clothing as possible (to get proportions correct).

I then match cylinders to the basic parts, get the basic shape, then use split-polygon tool to cut in to exadurate the muscle groups (which will be massively decreased in smoothing to look realistic)
