Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Website Design and Maya intergration

Hey Guys

Just a quick question about what program is overall the best for Website design and has the ability to intergrate flash and maya in it also. Any help would be much appreciated.

without googling, this is the only one i know of
https://www.erain.com/

swift3D, the first 3D package i ever used (because everything else was just too hard to figure out 7 years ago) back in version 2

man... things sure have changed

From what i remember you could import 3ds and obj files... i have no idea what it can do now though

add: swift 3d makes a plug in for flash, so you can import stuff from swift3d to flash (at least thats how it worked so long ago)

that's a "Ch" pronounced as a "K"

Computer skills I should have:
Objective C, C#, Java, MEL. Python, C++, XML, JavaScript, XSLT, HTML, SQL, CSS, FXScript, Clips, SOAR, ActionScript, OpenGL, DirectX
Maya, XSI, Photoshop, AfterEffects, Motion, Illustrator, Flash, Swift3D

Dreamweaver. Period. It's so fine....

Flash I know is easily integrated - both programs are part of the Creative Suite. Dreamweaver and Flash are brothers, IOW. I can't say about Maya files - seems like I heard something once, but I forget what or where now. A jpeg of your model is just another jpeg, though, which Dreamweaver can certainly do. I'm not sure any program can view and rotate an .obj file without being a 3d graphics processor. Even if you get it in the page there's still the matter of the user's web browser, which certainly can't natively view such files.. I believe Flash can do some things with some .obj files. Flash is quite difficult to learn.....
