no i really ment MAC SUX as in (MACHINTOSH SUCKS!)
i've worked with a powerMAC g4 1.25 dual 1.5 gigs RAM AND IT SUX!!! they say that the PC's are unstable....they never worked on PC before probably... i had to reboot the MAC like 20 times a day now that i have my DELL precision workstation 650 (dual Xeon 2.8 each...2 Gigs RAM....Nvidia Quadro4 980 XGL) my maya hasn't quit unexpectadly not even once user added image NOW THATS WORKING IN MAYA!!! user added image

I must be the old git on this site... I am 38 and will be 39 in March and seems like I am surrounded by youngsters!

God when I was your age we didn't have computers, I didn't get into 3D until I was 35 - wish I had opened my eyes and started earlier. Mind you it wasn't like it i now then, but what will it be like in another 4 years????

Started on Cinema 4D, then Animation Master 8.5 now looks like I am heading down the Maya 4.5 route...

wel I am 27 and using version 4 / 4.5. If i ever get RAT 5.5 to work I will switch compleetly to 4.5..

Macs, PCs, SGIs, etc -> All the same... just piece of dumb hardware that can't do a thing without the help of us. They're all just expensive tools in my POV :p

In general, I agree. All computers are stupid. I just like Macs more, because at least they look better. user added image
