parent one object to another

hello. i have parented object B to object A, not parent constrained, but simply with "p". but when i'm rotating object A, rotating values of object B are changing also. so i get wrong movement of object B.

Try deleting history and freezing transformation before parenting...........dave

i've done everything. strange is that i didn't get that problem before, when i was rigging other characters.

select object B, then object A, then "p". history is deleted, transformations are frozen.

There has to be history still attached to the child if it is not rotating with the parent. If you cannot identify and delete the history node(s). Then your next option is separate the parts and duplicate the child. Delete the history again (to be safe). Delete the original child. Then redo the parenting. If you get double transforms now then you have something really borked.
