Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

How much circles did you make around the eye with the split poly tool?
Everything I want to make good eayelids, then there are hard edges. Smoothing doesnt help.

that is looking really spot on for a characature of yourself - are you going to change the hair at all? as in making it more of a hair like texture?

cheers

Amaizing work in deed... user added image
cb8rwh, I don't know if it's indicated to put hair texture because it's a cartoon, at least this is my opinion...

Eagleking : Its GI joe lighting

cb8rwh : The hair is gonna get more shape, but I dont think I am gonna texture it with a real hair look, since it has to be cartoonish.

The same goes for the eyes.. gonna make them cartoonish.

He / you are looking amazing! You might want to rotate the pupils round a little as he/you looks a tad cross eyed! But really nice work.

Great!

What settings are you using in GI Joe for that render if I might ask?
