Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 1
This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

Dude THAT IS AWESOME

I am very impressed, I am somewhat new to Maya, I go to the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, and Have seen some pretty good 3d stuff nedless to say...But really this stuff looks great..Can't wait to see it finished!!!

thanks a lot

i am self taught and i think people like me are prone to take it and leave it, but when i do put stuff up for crit it allways gives me a boost , and ive had some early stuff ravaged! but just the interest of people taking the time to add their piont of view makes the sense of a community out their come back to life, and really gets me into it again, lets face it we all need a bit of encouragment, especialy if you have to get up at 5am, to have a couple of hours before work and the kids!

Been doing some more work on the falcon texture, bit less pink and i made the windows bigger, so thanks for the suggestion

Most of the models look spot on to me and cannot find anything to crit appart from the falcon. It might be the angle of the render but the falcon looks like it should be slightly deeper where I have marked. If you get a render from the side though it will give a better idea. Must say though it is looking great so far and look forward to seeing it all come together.
