new car

Hello,

I have started to make a new car. I was modeling a Citroen DS but I have put that on hold for a while as I don't think my modeling skills are up to scratch to tackle a real car. This one is my own design so I can't get it wrong!! I will pick up the DS again when I feel confident that I can do it justice. Anyway here it is so far, Just a shell really. Any crit is welcome, I'll post more as and when. Cheers,

Mat.

Nice start and quite a original design. Could we see some wires please?

Hey Dude

Nice job so far, as for crit, maybe thicken the edges a little around the wheel arches, extrude them inwards, it'll add some thickness to stop them looking too flimsy/paper like.

Cheers Jango.

I've managed to get a little work done on the lights and the cabin. I'm pretty happy with my progress so far, it's looking pretty much how I imagined it. Once again any crit is more than welcome. Cheers,

Mat.

Thanks Mainline,

I've pretty much finished the bodyshell now and have built an exhaust pipe. The colour is just an idea I had and may not stay, it's just I was getting bored of the blue! My next step, I think, will be to build and fit the seat, steering wheel, etc. Once again I'll post progress when it occurs. Any feedback is welcome, cheers,

Mat.

Excellent, a cool from Mr McKinley, cheers Mike!

Since my last post I've done a bit more of the small stuff that no one will ever notice and have made a dashboard which people will hopefully notice! Once again any crit can only be helpful, cheers,

Mat.
