Hoping this work - my video I set to render while out today - has some of the fixes (the noise area) just need to do a little more (mostly to the wings) but this really does show of the model.

Tweety

dude, looks neat, I would perhaps reduce the thickness of the wings - ya know power to weight ratio and all that, plus it would make it sharper looking too

Thanks for all the kinds words - chucked myself into this one 110% and think its paying off.

Been tweaking and tweaking the wings today - they are about the third of the thickness now and I`m just sorting out the detail lines and may add some bolts on there - but they are looking a little silly right now (so no render of them hehe).

Not sure on the thinner wings - I like the look of the thicker ones more

Got another Idea for them going to try out next but at the mo I might go back to the older ones.

Render way below the standed of the earlier ones but still good enough

I agree, it doesn't look as good with the wings that thin. They just look too brittle right now. If it was a space vehicle, then it could be as thick as you want, but it looks like there's an air intake which suggests that it's mainly for air. That said, my brain does tell me that the original wings are a little too thick. Perhaps making the wings just a little bit thinner than the original but not as thin as you have now? Some older aircrafts did have some thicker wings (at least at the thickest point) and sometimes you just have to go with what looks COOL haha.

My design has some pretty thick wings, much more so than yours but it's primarily a spacecraft so hopefully I can get away with it. I think yours looks way more cool than mine though. Your design is totally awesome looking, good job.

Yer I know - that`s why I went back to them.

Much happier with these wings now - but I do miss the thicker ones - these are also a lot smaller which I think centres more on the cockpit - having them on those hinges also means I can keep them flatter and yet still rotate them to match the ref image a little more - first renders with the new noise as well which looks a lot smoother. Also going to spend some time making some areas non reflective as its a little over powering close up

Still not 100% happy

The thinner wings were toooooo thin, I think you went too far mate and changed you own mind too quick. Half way between the two would have worked

i like the look of the body. Its pretty cool, looks fast. I think the wings are a a bit under designed compared to the body. The panels are fairly simple and don't really make much sense. By this i just mean they're not in keeping with the look. manufacturing-wise. i doubt i would make them one piece with a curved edge. more panels perhaps, or add some flaps.

Although i really like the model, I also have a slight problem with concept. If this is deigned for speed, then wouldn't it just whiz by all the people who are supposed to be instilled with fear by its silhouette? ...This is unless it flies very high, then it would perhaps not have the impact unless there were hundreds of them or it was huge.
